By train

Lourdes has fine direct connections in terms of railroad infrastructure with major cities such as Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon, Montpellier, and Geneva, for instance. From Paris to Lourdes, trains need about 5 hours and 30 minutes to cover the distance, with a call at Tarbes. By car

The A10 Motorway is the best main alternative to get to Lourdes from major cities like Paris, Tours, and Bordeaux. From Bordeaux one can either resort to A63, go south and then exit on A64 or resort to A62, drive southeast and then exit on A64 from Toulouse. Spain has fine road connections to Lourdes, with main cross border points at Irun (and then take E80) at west, and nearby Boulou (and then resort to A9) at east.
